"A young lady from Pomona that had a severe underbite was selected by a local dental group to receive pro-bono care by an oral surgeon & myself as part of a community project to assist those in need of special care that could not afford it. After the treatment was completed & I showed the mother the before & after pictures, she wept tears of joy to see how beautiful her smile & facial structure appeared & the dramatic improvement in her daughter's self-esteem. It was very rewarding to see the impact that we had on her appearance as well as the transformation it had on her personality & life. The patient & her parents couldn't stop smiling & thanking us for the “miraculous” transformation that they had seen in their child."
